(Translated by Google) Our arrival here was very special. I had booked a Cottage at the Lighthouse online but upon our arrival we found it was not free, the lady had not left. An alarming news such a thing never happened. After several hours of phone calls from the owners of the Lighthouse Caf they managed to find us a bed in the Bird Observatory hostel. The Bird Observatory has single rooms, a hostel, a campsite, a small shop, a room used as a restaurant. They were our salvation, we were immediately greeted with warmth and a huge smile by Alison and all the bird volunteers. Fabulous welcome, excellent food for both dinner and breakfast. We stayed in the hostel which is the small building opposite, the room consisted of two bunk beds with colored duvets and a bathroom next to it. Fairly clean room and bathroom, bed a little uncomfortable for my back but overall a warm and colorful room. In the afternoon we witnessed a census of a bird that was for a moment the photographic target of all the tourists present at the moment in the structure. We saw the Northern Lights and for sure it was our most peculiar and crazy wedding anniversary to remember forever. Thanks for everything to Alison and the whole team. Simply fantastic. (Original) Il nostro arrivo qui stato molto particolare. Avevo prenotato online un Cottage al Lighthouse ma al nostro arrivo abbiamo scoperto che non era libero, la signora non se n'era andata. Una notizia allarmante mai successa una cosa del genere. Dopo varie ore di telefonate da parte dei proprietari della Lighthouse Caf sono riusciti a trovarci un letto nell'ostello del Bird Observatory. Il Bird Observatory dispone di camere singole, un ostello, un campeggio, un negozietto, una sala adibita a ristorante. Sono stati la nostra salvezza, siamo stati subito accolti con calore ed un enorme sorriso da Alison e da tutti i volontari esperti in uccelli. Accoglienza favolosa, cibo ottimo sia la cena che la colazione. Abbiamo alloggiato nell'ostello che il piccolo edificio difronte, la camera era composta da due letti a castelli con piumoni colorati ed un bagno accanto. Stanza e bagno abbastanza puliti, letto un p scomodo per la mia schiena ma complessivamente una camera calda e colorata. Nel pomeriggio abbiamo assistito ad un censimento di un uccellino che stato per un attimo bersaglio fotografico di tutti i turisti presenti al momento nella struttura. Si vista l'aurora boreale e di sicuro stato il nostro anniversario di matrimonio pi particolare e pazzerello da ricordare per sempre. Grazie di tutto ad Alison e tutto il team. Semplicemente fantastici.
