        Tremendous service. Was in North Berwick with my son and damaged my glasses. Saturday afternoon, visited Downes Opticians and it wasn't a problem. Fixed within 20 minutes. Thank you very much.

        Clare and team are absolutely brilliant at what they do and create a very friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Clare is very good at explaining and we all feel in safe hands. That is my husband and sons. There is also a huge choice of frames and you will alway get honest advice whether the frame suits or not.I cannot recommend Downes Opticians highly enough. I have been to both shops and this applies to both shops equally. Can't wait to go for my check up when Clare is open again.

        We've been regular customers of Downes opticians since they opened. My sun has a lot of issues with his sight and we've been so well looked after, with no request ever being too much. Our son loves going to the optician and adores wearing his glasses. I wouldn't dream of going anywhere else. Highly recommend.
