This is a fabulous shop with an equally charming owner, had my eye on a very unique painting, returned to the shop a few days later with my elderly mother, the owner offered my Mum a tea or coffee and a seat (charming) I bought the picture and arranged to pick it up the next day. My Mum asked his advice on how to clean some pictures she has, he got the product he used and gave her advice on how to use it. He gave me clear instructions for me for a good walk (I got lost) retuned the following day with my sister in law to uplift my picture, lots more chats and much laughter. Hes a great host and has soo many fabulous items. I hope to return one day, and purchase another unique item. Thank you.

amazing and special shop that is a real treasure. Loveliest owner who chatted away to us and was more than welcoming. Will hopefully be able to visit again someday soon.

What a great wee find. A treasure trove of all kinds of items. Enjoyed perusing and chatting to the owner, he's really passionate about his wares and rightly so. I bought my first couple of Christmas gifts. It's a beautiful wee village with a couple of places to eat and great views. I drove further along to have a walk at Caerlaverock nature reserve and watch the sunset. A nice outing after attending a course in Dumfries during the day.

On y trouve de trs beaux objets soigneusement slectionns. Au fond se trouve une bibliothque de trs beaux livres aussi prcieux qu'intressants. Chacun d'eux contient une petit note rsument le contenu du livre faite par le propritaire du magasin. Le propritaire est adorable et a pris le temps de discuter avec nous et de nous aider dans nos recherches. Nous sommes trs heureux que cette boutique ait faite partie de notre retour de vacances.
