        Small, lovely station with direkt trains to Edinburgh, Glasgow and Inverness. Tickets not available. 20 min footwalk to the village centre

        It was misty and damp when I arrived at Newtonmore Station. The old station buildings remain but is now a private residence. There are no facilities here the station is unmanned. The car park has been tarred recently and there is a departure/arrival notice board. It did feel a bit unwelcoming but it is a short walk into Newtonmore.
