Northern Aspect Mountaineering

I spent a day on Ben Nevis with Mehmet where he guided me on the ascent via the Ledge Route. We then descended a short way down the Tower Ridge to just above the Gap, giving me a taste of what the ascent of the Tower Ridge would feel like. We then descended from the summit towards the CMD Arete from where we dropped down into Coire Leis before the walk out. Mehmet's calm and reassuring manner meant I felt completely safe at all times. He was patient and encouraging throughout, ensuring I made the most of my time on the hill especially on the more exciting scrambling sections. Mehmet is very good company and our conversations spanned a vast range of topics and included a lot of knowledge sharing and fun topics. Thank you Mehmet and I look forward to further interesting and challenging days out in future.

Second time walking in skye with Mehmet a fantastic guide . Makes you believe in your own ability. Im looking forward to book more in skye with him he is very knowledgeable about the outdoors . Thanks for another great trip on in pinn and other munro we done

I had a great day climbing sea cliffs with Mehemet in Elgol, Skye. Mehemet is very knowledgeable and I learned a lot from the day I spent being instructed by him. Would happily recommend to anyone looking for a climbing guide.

I have been out with Mehmet from Northern Aspect twice this year for my first experience in winter mountaineering. I have left this experience feeling confident, inspired and supported moving forward with my mountaineering skills and safety in the mountains. Mehmets genuine passion shines through the whole experience, he is flexible, supportive, knowledgable and works hard to make the course affordable. There is no doubt I will be doing some of Mehmets other courses and there is no doubt my two days out will be highlights of 2022. Couldnt recommend Northern Aspect enough.

Great day coaching my daughter on key skills and including some coaching and safety tips for me so i can support her in the future. Tremendous attention to detail and patience to make the day as enjoyable as possible. Great local knowlege to make best advantage of potentially adverse weather.
