Found this place by chance on Google Maps. A truly intriguing museum jam packed with everything from dolls to a shotgun and aircraft wreckage to an old milking machine. We were greeted with a warm welcome and our teenage kids were even kept entertained with the free quiz. Thanks.

A really interesting museum. A massively varied content but all relating to Newton Stewart and the surrounding area. The varied exhibits vary from military uniforms to fashion and kitchenwares. The staff, all volunteers are knowledgable friendly and helpful. The museum is a charity and needs all the support it can find so please visit if you are in the area, it will be worth it and very enjoyable.
