        Mags was amazing. This is primarily a Static/Mobile Home site but with spaces for tourers, who are made very welcome. Lovely wooded location near the River Cree and Newton Stuart. Although a little old, the facilities were clean and regularly maintained. The host , Mags, could not be more helpful, knowledgeable or proud of her community. Wonderful hospitality.

        Stayed overnight at the end of October 2022. This site takes campervans, motorhomes and tents. It is situated a 5 minute walk (slow walk) from the town of Newton Stewart. The owners are extremely helpful. You can get hard standings or grass, with or without electricity. There is a main toilet/shower block in the middle of the site. Definitely will be back. It's open 11 months of the year except February. Well worth a visit.
