Overall a very good experience. Asked Matt to replace the double glazing in one of our large sash windows (8 panes in a 1m x 2.20m sash window) and to draught roof that window as well as to draught proof two other windows of the same size. The work was done to excellent standard, Matt was on time, cleaned up after himself and made sure to cover all areas prior to commencing the work. What keeps me from giving a full five stars is the fact that we had to wait 13 months for him to be able to do the work - you can take this as testament to the quality hes delivering, and thus his justified popularity, but it is nevertheless a very long wait. This, combined with a steep prize - 3200 for the above described work, which took two people less than two days to complete - keeps me from giving a full five stars. Matthew was a pleasure to work with. He was extremely flexible when arranging his visits for quotation and final measurements. His estimates for the commencement and duration of the work were realistic and accurate. My apartment is in a B listed building and Matthew was very helpful when producing his plan of works to be included in my documentation for Planning and Building consents from Glasgow City Council. Before starting any work Matthew and his assistant, Peter were most diligent to ensure all the furniture and floor were covered and protected. Then at the end of every day they cleaned up and tidied away all their tools. I have four large sash windows to the front of my apartment, each 3m x 1.25m. I am delighted with the result. The new sashes match the look of the originals exactly.The paintwork to both the exterior and interior is of high quality and the double glazing has made a huge difference to the traffic noise. I would have no qualms recommending Matthews company and indeed, I hope to use them again myself, in the future.
