Westacres Care Home

My Dad only spent a few very short weeks in Westacres Care Home but the care from every member of staff was outstanding. My Dad was so content in his "new flat," as he called it, which gave us his family total peace of mind that he was made to feel loved and special during his time. My Dad sadly passed away only 3 weeks in his new home and his death was so peaceful and dignified, due to the care, attention and total respect that he received from the Care Team and Nurses, and their attentiveness to us his family was second to none. With all the bad reviews that we hear about Care Homes, I can honestly say without a shadow of a doubt that this is absolutely not the case in Westacres, it was an absolute privilege for my Dad and myself and my brothers to have met such genuine caring and wonderful people in the home. Linda, The Manager and the whole team are a credit to Newark and should be cherished.

My mum is so well looked after. She feels she's at home. And so do we as a family.
