Seaview Lodge

The Seaview Lodge is a good rental option in the Nairn area for traveling through etc - wonderful location by the sea with vista views and close to beachfront walking etc. My family of 6 was visiting for a week due to a wedding - we had plenty of room and everyone was comfortable. The owner Michael was friendly and took time to speak prior to check in. Im giving 3 stars as I didnt feel the website and advertisement reflected what was actually offered and in my opinion the personal touches are whats so important. Website stated complimentary welcome package of fresh flowers, kitchen basics, Prosecco, coffee but nothing was prepared or left for us. Toiletries were also promised but nothing was given. We felt the general cleaning of the villa was sub-par - dusty surfaces etc and a pair of underwear was also in one of the bedroom drawers. Bikes at home were not available until we emailed and they were brought over immediately. There was 1 towel per room left for us which was not ideal for 6 people in a week - we were not allowed to have small washcloths due to an unrelated COVID excuse. Overall, it appeared to me that the owner is not typically around and the management / cleaning company hired to turnover is doing a less than stellar job. The house has so much potential, it just needs some TLC.
