It's a great walk popular with locals, the dog walkers and the fitness enthusiasts. It's a three in one, it can lead you all the way to Cawdor, it's a circuit route crossing the two main bridges you find, and can also lead you to Nairn central beach by foot. There is adequate parking in two areas which are located either side of the main playing field, a playpark which had been recently upgraded and I can get a solid two hours with the kids there with benches for resting, a skate park, bmx bike track and some sort of wee road thing which is great for kids practicing cycling or go karts etc. The circuit route is good and flat (however one of the bridges is no good for wheel chair users) and will take you Riverside all the way round with benches and small beach like areas for resting, dipping your toes in or classic stone throwing. Fallen trees along the way make it almost into a natural play park and my kids love it.
