I found Richard very rude and arrogant in my dealings with him. He refused to accept known facts regarding our water supply and instead advised a very expensive, unnecessary, and potentially futile borehole when all that proved to be needed was a simple upgrade to our very reliable existing spring which had served the property for over 100 years! Luckily other suppliers in the area are more customer focussed and less profit orientated. and better mannered and more respectful as well!

Please do your research before dealing with this company!!! Get other quotes and do your research into what your water quality results mean and what treatment is required before making any decisions. This company used blatant lies in their sales pitch - including intentionally giving us a guide price that was tens of thousands of pounds lower than they know work would cost (this was later admitted to us by director Craig). They also recommended treatment based on fictional cut offs. While there may not be hard and fast regulations, there is plenty of information out there. Looking at what other companies and organisations use it is very clear that Highwater make theirs up to sell equipment. Please take care. I would hate for others to have the same stressful and expensive experience that we did dealing with this company. We went elsewhere and found another supplier that could install our water for a fraction of what Highwater proposed.

We contacted Highwater with an unusual request: how to get a new water supply for a remote mountain hut in the Cairngorms. After a helpful telephone discussion Craig from Highwater did a site visit and took time to explain the options to us. They then provided us with step by step instructions on how to construct our chosen supply, and helped us to source the materials required. After taking their advice, we now have a working water supply which is safe to drink. We were really impressed with the quality of customer service provided by Highwater, by their knowledge, and by their pragmatic, practical approach. The best option for us would have been a borehole, which was out of our budget. Rather than walking away, Highwater worked with us to come up with an alternative solution and gave us lots of time and help. Overall: delighted we got in touch with Highwater.
