Argos Nairn in Sainsbury's

A bit of a journey. First what I wanted for a birthday gift was all sold out. But then lovely girl on the desk said she could order and send straight to Birthday boy. Even delivery on his birthday. Half of the order was perfect. The other half despite the the packaging being intact, the sage green garden box was broken. Not a little crack but a big one, which means it was cracked at the factory. Argos agreed that is totally unacceptable. Their customer service was excellent. But if you are looking for a garden box steer clear of this one

Purchased a low value item which turned out to be faulty. Representative of the store advised a paper copy receipt was required to prove purchase even though we had a scanned receipt. The product was acknowledged as sold defective the Representative advised an exchange was not possible even though the item was in stock at the store. Advise provided was not in line with Argos own returns policy or Consumer Rights Act legislation.
