        Oh boy this was delicious! We visited Lornas Larder twice on our trip around Lewis & Harris, the food is that good. So fresh, plenty of choice and beyond tasty. Definitely a highlight!

        The food we had from Lornas was some of the best we had on our trip to the Outer Hebrides. My husband and I both had the seafood box and it was delicious! Everything cooked fresh and not greasy, my only complaint is that I live on the mainland and cant come here every Friday! Absolutely recommend.

        We would have loved to eat there, but the 4 times we tried it was either almost closed (first time, so no food) or closed (the 3 other times / days). And yes, we tried when it was supposed to be opened (but was not) . Seeing the 2 little traffic cones blocking the road going to the closed truck was starting to be a running joke with my wife. So probably very good, but obviously unreliable.
