        Stayed at Lickisto for three nights at the end of Sept and had a wonderful time! It's a truly unique campsite and unlike any other we've used. We were one of only two tents there and managed to bag the prime camping spot right by the water. The blackhouse was very cosy and much-needed when the weather turned on our first evening. Was nice to have the bathroom facilities close by too. We were lucky enough to only experience a small number of midges in the morning - they stayed away in the evening as we had a campfire burning. Campsite is in a great location for exploring south Harris, Tarbert and beyond. Would highly recommend to anyone wanting to camp on Harris but without giving up all their creature comforts!
