A very strange experience Arrived at 3:30 and was told very abruptly that it was not open till 5. Not have a drink while I finish your room Room and decor extremely dated No hot water Taps didn't work Bed was comfortable enough Breakfast was a joke-a bag of long life apple juice and a squashed coissant I want to be honest here The owner did apologize about the hot water and did give us some free drinks and tried to give us our main meals for free however it would not have been fair to take advantage that way How people rate this hotel as 5 star is beyond me We travelled all around the Highlands and Harris and this was the worst of all of the hotels we stayed at and it was one of the most expensive per night I get the sense the owner is struggling and I want them to succeed however it would not be fair to leave a good review because of free drinks and money off meals. I think you need to be honest about the hotel and it's facilities so other people are aware

If youre cycling the Hebridean way be sure to make this your stop. We stoped for a night and were amazed by the impeccable hospitality by the owner. The room was spotless and if you want a quiet night sleep - this place is as quiet as a church mouse. If not even quieter. Food was divine. And the morning breakfast bag is just a right amount of mix to get you started. We also got some superb tasting sandwiches to go for our cycle towards our next stop. All in all a fantastic place to stay and visit :)

We stayed for two nights and were very impressed with the Loch Erisort Inn. Our room was spacious and perfectly clean. The owners are really friendly and were incredibly accommodating given that our dog also stayed with us. The dinner served was fresh and very tasty with a good number of choices on the menu. All dietary requirements are catered for. The breakfast choices to go were also much appreciated especially for an early start when travelling around the island. I would highly recommend the Loch Erisort Inn to anyone visiting Harris and Lewis.
