We had a perfect stay ! The house and the room are cozy and very comfortable, just ideal after hiking etc. The host Shona is very friendly and useful for accommodations and recommandations about the isle. The breakfast is good and generous Go and enjoy your stay !! Axel and Jeremy

A lovely B&B, very welcoming and comfortable. The breakfasts were great, and we were spoiled with homemade oat biscuits! We stored our cycles safely in the garage and used Shonas extensive knowledge of Harris to have good lunches in the local area. The photo was from just out front of the B&B.

There should be a 6 star option for use in some circumstances- this is one of them! Lovely clean, well presented rooms, living/ dining area and conservatory at the front with magnificant views. What sets Taylorhill apart is the service. Email contact in advance provided dinner suggestions locally (particularly as we were struggling to find anywhere on one of the days). When we arrrived Shona was so warm and welcoming making us feel at home straight away. Breakfast was arranged as suited and very flexible with trips etc we had planned. The breakfast was delicious, all four in the party enjoyed the meal and eggs from on-site free range chickens were delicious! Could not fault Taylorhill and would recommend to anyone who wants to stay in Harris or Lewis to make this their base.
