Can not recommend Axis highly enough, my electric Mira shower had an error and I contacted a number of plumbers for help. Melanie at Axis got back to me really quickly, gave me great advice about my options and arranged to have the shower replaced very quickly. This company abuse people's urgent situations for their own ends.We called Axis for a leak in the bathroom. Initially they booked us in that afternoon, however they cancelled and left us stuck. We phoned back and strangely enough they had availability out of hours at twice the hourly rate. At this point we were just pleased someone could come and agreed to pay 150 charge. The plumber arrived and did not have the parts required so drove 40 mins there and back to buy parts which were incorrect. We were then charged for the time he was away and left without water for the night. He returned the next day for 10 minutes and we were charged for another visit and more parts. Only use if you are desperate and have lots of money. Otherwise a loan will be required for even the most basic job. When we questioned the bill we were met with disdain. Arranged an appointment for them to look at a leak in my bathroom, which they subsequently cancelled. However, when we called back they said they could send someone out but at double the rate. He attempted to fix the leak but needed parts. After returning with said parts, he still could not fix it and said he needed more parts. He returned the following morning and said he was given the wrong parts and finally fixed problem in the afternoon in 15 minutes. We were subsequently given a horrendous bill for said work and were met with total negativity when we complained. This was followed up with a threatening email of extra charges if we did not pay on time. Thanks for your reply but I think you are missing the point. When your employee assessed the problem and said he needed parts, it's not our fault he didn't get the right ones. If he had , the job would have been completed that evening and we wouldn't have been without water plus a bill for returning the next day. 480 for what should have been a straightforward repair is excessive. What was a 3 way joint has now become an interesting art form . Service: Plumbing leak repair
