A walk to the riverbank and you are surrounded in nature. Kingfisher hawks heron deer even an occasional rat have all been seen this year. Now made all the more enjoyable thanks to the AMAZING Work done by the renegade sweepers. A big thank you from this happy dog walker. Picnic area: Its on the opposite side of the river from the haugh park . Just behind the waterfall . Ideal place to sit and be patient and you very probably will see the kingfisher . I personally saw it there 25th April 2023 . If not great place to see sparrow hawks on over head cables

Playground: They have two play areas, one fenced off for Toddlers and another fenced off for older children Dog-friendliness: Huge area for dogs to be exercised.
