Tesco Extra

A word of caution about shopping here in the evenings. You need to be aware that they have a downgraded service after 9pm. All the tills are deserted. If you have a large trolly shop, you are expected to do everything yourself. Even if you know how to use the self-service scanner, you may still find this challenging, don't expect any help! I had a Tesco colleague standing very near watching me struggle and she offered no assistance whatsoever. The Customer Service desk is also closed. So if you get overcharged (as what happened to me), you will get told mercilessly, to return the next day for your refund. If you find the whole experience rotten and ask to see a store manager, your request will be refused. I had the choice of shopping anywhere - Lidl, Aldi or even Asda, but I foolishly went to this Tesco. Well, I won't be doing that again.

It's a massive shop with no redeeming factors. It's also very expensive.

What a joke this company claims to be helping out during the cost of lockdown crisis: how about lower your prices for all instead of the club card piffle prices, stop the card only tills, you clearly don't care about the old codgers who's only human interaction will take place in the supermarket.
