Muirkirk Juniors Football Clubare a Scottishfootballclub, based in the village ofMuirkirk,East Ayrshire. Nicknamedthe Kirk, they were formed in 1937, and they play at Burnside Park. Currently playing in theWest of Scotland League Second Division. There's a narrow road up to the supporters club and changing rooms from Furnace Road and parking for about 10 cars. Run by enthusiastic local volunteers, they are very much a community minded, friendly club. The pitch is in excellent condition and there is a small sheltered area for the club supporters to watch the team. They also have a fine history, with many young players moving on to bigger clubs.
