I attended Window Tint Motherwell for a front and rear light tint on 9th July 2022.
He sent us away into Motherwell, charged 155.
Came back to my car in a dark unit without lights, where I was to agree I was happy with the car or not. Based on the quality of the tint and the wolverine claw marks around my lights, as well as a plastic deep slice on my rear bumper, it looks like these were also the conditions he worked under.
It was sunny outside, and I would have been able to see the damage, as well as the poor application and quality.
The tint film was Hazey and unclear, it was applied poorly and upon leaving the unit, it was already peeling.
I attempted to come to an agreement of a full refund, I was planning to paint correct myself-I have now realised this is not possible due to the amount and extend if the damage.
He refused this. He also proceeded to block me and my partner on all socials and via mobile number.
Trading Standards Scotland have been contacted, they have been extremely helpful. I will take Window Tint Motherwell to court, as it appears he does not wish to come to a settlement out with, as has again blocked me.
