Just to clarify- I entered the store, two staff seen me and ignored me. My property was lying in an unstaffed, publicly assessable space so I lifted it, placed my ticket (with my name, address and phone number on it) on the desk along with the cash to pay for it and went to put the bags in my boot. I didnt even get the chance to come back in to let anyone know what Id done before being treated to shouting and swearing at me completely unprovoked. I am in there every week with the same bags and was trying to cause minimum disruption to the staff, and did not attempt to leave the premises as claimed. If I wanted to steal anything I easily could have, and I dont think Id have left my ticket with all my contact details on it if I had- nor would I have left my own cash! Terrible way to speak to another human being, nevermind a regular and long-standing paying customer.
