Please avoid this so called surgery as much as u can. They are disgusting. So called drs shout down a phone at you when you disagree about something. The attitude from some of the receptionists is a disgrace they seem to think they are doctors. Please please please avoid this place they honestly are the worst I have ever had the misfortune of meeting. I cant stress enough how unprofessional they are. They dont are about patients or their medical needs.

A rural practice spread over a wide area, Taiglum suffers from many issues affecting rural GP services. The same doctors cover Drongan, Tarbolton, and Mossblown. Their patients are predominantly from very deprived areas in Ayrshire, and a contempt for the social background of most of the patients shows in staff attitudes and in the way the practice is run. Patients from my community who should have been referred for diagnoses for long term learning disability have been ignored or prescribed depressants, making it impossible for those people to access PIPs or disability services. In the time I and my family members have been with them, they've failed to diagnose and refer in time for cancer, autism, and prescribed the wrong drugs and further failed to identify severe adverse reactions. There's also a significant barrier to access for disabled people and their carers, particularly women with young or disabled children, because of a ridiculous appointment system where the patient or their carer must call in between 8:15-8:30, right at the time when carers--of which women are overrepresented--are trying to get their charges to school or care centres in time. Miss this appointment window and there's no emergency appointments available. The result of this is that I was unable to access my GP for myself, for over a year, because of my care responsibilities. Not recommended. I'm now no longer with this practice.
