One of the best B&Bs I have stayed in so far. They are very thoughtful about their guests. They provided gluten and dairy free options for my poor digestive system, they even thought of leaving small oat milk sachets in my room! They use local products and even offer a small complementary basket of biscuits and sodas, never seen such generous owners before. My room was super clean and had more than what I needed. No noise, it was a very peaceful stay. Will definitely come back with friends and family! Thanks for hosting me Gordon!

Stayed here while on my placement in Montrose. The BnB was nothing short of amazing. I had the 'luck' to be able stay in 2 of the rooms while I was there. They were both very clean and had a very homey feel to them. The toilets were spotless and the water pressure of the shower was just wow. The kitchen had all the cooking equipment and storage I needed. The place was conveniently located, being close to several restaurants, takeaways, pubs, supermarkets, and gyms. The hosts Gordon and Euan were so friendly and welcoming. Had a great time chatting with them when I saw them. Gordon's very knowledgeable with the local, and non-local flora and fauna. Euan is an amazing cook and baker. I've thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Bamse BnB, and I would stay again the next time I'm around.

This review is very long overdue but no less complimentary of the experience we had staying with Gordon and Euan. From our early enquiry, both Gordon and Euan provided a warm, informative and enthusiastic response to our questions on the suitability of the accommodation for my partner, me and our cocker spaniel pup. We were aware of the lovely pets sharing the B&B so were really chuffed when it was confirmed we could be accommodated. Gordon met us when we arrived, even with our later than anticipated timing he was kind, smiley and happy to help with our bags. The room, was very nicely presented with a comfortable, clean bed and bedding, welcome selection of teas and biscuits and a lovely note and selection of treats for our dog. We really loved the way G&E got in touch in advance to discuss our breakfast request, reflecting their approach to sustainability, shopping locally and providing a really personal touch. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, we shared the breakfast room with either G or E whilst they cooked, this was a really nice experience as conversation was easy and interesting as both were happy to share tips and stories for making the most of our stay. The location was perfectly situated for nice walks in and around Montrose, including the beautiful beach walks and historical houses and buildings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will sure to be back! Thank you!
