The living area includes a cosy log burner and a well appointed kitchen area that has been thoughtfully provisioned.
The beds in both bedrooms are comfortable and the bathroom is clean and modern with a decent electric shower.
The garden is vast and our dog loved running in it and relaxing in it (it was a bit cold in early March for humans to spend much time there).
This is one of the most dog friendly cottages we have visited with numerous wee touches to ensure a comfortable stay for all the family.

It is spotlessly clean with great amenities. Smashing big back garden, fully enclosed for the dog.
Pub just along the road, also dog friendly.
Can highly recommend River Cottage.
