The Lodges at Barra Castle

We stayed in the Seton Lodge at Barra Castle for 1 night. It was stunning inside, very modern but with a countryside feel. Our lodge was right outside Barra Castle which could be seen as you entered the premises. There was car parking outside the lodge which was very convenient. The lodge was very clean and full of bathroom supplies including Arran Aromatics products. The kitchen was stocked with everything you would need- we made chocolate dipped strawberries on our visit. The bed itself was very comfortable with a skylight window above it to stargaze. There was fantastic communication from the host Sarah, who had everything ready for our arrival and replied to my messages instantly. The lodge is situated a short distance from Inverurie where we dined on Saturday night (Fennel Restaurant). In the morning we visited the Barra farm shop for a coffee and croissant which we took on a walk of the castle grounds. Overall, a fantastic stay which I would recommend to anyone.
