Eastwood

We had been looking for kennels since we moved areas in the Borders. Two of our dogs have been boarded before. They are a demanding trio (elderly, middle aged and one equivalent to a teen rowdy) and it was terrific that the owner gave them all a "morning trial" Others in the area often use the word luxury and resort rather loosely and speak of consultations as if the dogs were patients! Granted, supreme patience is required with our 3. We had hitherto been put off by some boarding businesses without a chance ie they don't seem like dogs we would want to board but when a friend in Gordon recommended Eastwood it was plain sailing and Alison readily agreed to give them a "taster half day" to see how they would settle. So Eastwood is what you call "good 'ol home loving care" and in a superb setting with generous secure woodland for the dogs to have their daily fun and plays. They came back so contented and waggy -tailed with no stress at all. So if you want to find a place that is committed to your dogs (and I learn they board cats too) where the owners and staff are passionate about your pet/s -book quickly. You'd be barking mad not too. Would totally endorse this establishment. No qualms about setting off on holiday now. The Power Family, Berwickshire
