Dod Mill

The Stilthouse - Chic, Scandi inspired interiors with an amazing use of windows to create light and the sense of being immersed in nature. The wood burner is a charming way to slow cook and live for a few days. Recommended - take your binoculars. The area is thriving with wildlife.

Had an amazing stay at the Dod Mill converted mill house. House itself had everything you would need, furnished to an excellent standard, with an amazing log burner and stand alone bath, which my wife said was great too!! Lovely spot with some really nice walks from the mill. Local area was really nice too, with some amazing walks in Lauder and Duns. My dog Alfie really enjoyed the trip too! We will be back. Very relaxing October family break in the Bothy. Lots to see and do nearby with two young kids. Property extremely well appointed and comfortable. Owners on site and v helpful if needed but discrete. Nice walks in the fields and river behind. Spotting an otter in the river on the last night was a lovely bonus. Would highly recommend.

Lovely place comprising a small number of unique properties scattered across the owners land which also includes fruit trees, a stream, pond, sheep, ducks and neighbouring horses. We stayed in the Bothy which was very cosy, well equipped and beautifully styled. It had a lovely atmosphere and we happily stayed in as much as heading out to explore the area.
