When booking a property for holidays you never know exactly what's ahead....but I can say hand on heart you will not be disappointed with this propaerty! It's even better in reality than shown in the pics. Not so much of a cottage - it's a large Scandinavian-style dwelling offering 5* accommodation!! There's nothing to fault. Location spectacular - stunning veiws of sea lochs and several local islands - spotlessly clean, well equipped with high level furniture, bedding, utensils, toiletries and gadgets throughout. The hot tub is massive and strategically placed to show breathtaking veiws of the Argyll coastline. Don't forget to explore the cottage's garden - it's a plethora of perfectly place plants and bolders. The owners Paul and Gee were always available via mobile texting before, during and after our stay, keen to make sure we got that 5* service we sought. Paul even suggested I placed a click and collect order with Tesco which he would collect for me! Now that's something not normally offered by property owners!! When you stay here you must explore the shoreline walks and the pub which is only 5 mins walk away. The food was very tasty ( in-house and takeaway), the veiws of the small marina very picturesque and the staff were a very friendly attentive bunch. There is much more to explore in the surrounding area but we chose to stay very local due to the current government guidance on COVID 19. I can't thank Paul and Gee enough for the top notch service they provided myself and my two teenage children. On arrival we were greeted with a wonderful food hamper full of special treats for us all. That was an extremely nice touch so thanks again for wonderful collection of goodies. We aim to return for sure. I suggest if you are reading this reveiw you pay a visit to Scone Cottage too. You will not be disappointed!!

07/26/2020 at 1:23 PM by Francis Gerrard M Fantastic cottage in a great location. Scone Cottage is a beautiful cottage in a wonderful part of Scotland. The welcome was exceptional and the property is very well appointed with everything one would expect of a high quality cottage. The hot tub was a definite hit, especially for relaxing after a good day's walking. We really didn't want to leave at the end of our week.

What a comfortable and well appointed home. We enjoyed a thoroughly relaxing holiday just chilling out and visiting some of the local sights - Kilmartin, Crinan, Carnasserie castle were great places to visit and very interesting. The Hydrotherapy jacuzzi was wonderful and was the focal point for the evening relaxation. Thoroughly recommended cottage. Many thanks to Paul and Zee for making us so welcome.

Let down by the owner. Alleged building work that will take 3 months according to them. If a property needs 3 months worth of building work, is it even habitable? Glad I've been let down now. Avoid.
