There were 7 of us on this trip and The Beltie Byre was perfect for us. Downstairs, there is a huge open plan kitchen/dining room/living room and a very comfy sofa and large TV. There is also an en suite double bedroom, a family room and and a separate bathroom on this level. Upstairs there is a twin en suite bedroom and a really huge 'loft conversion' style room which has a sofa bed, a TV, comfy chairs, games etc. The layout meant that there was plenty of space for us to spread out and not get under each other's feet (always handy when it's a family group!). Zan and her husband were very friendly and accommodating but not intrusive in any way. We would not hesitate to book again when we need another place for a group of 6+ It was January 2020 when we visited so it would be nice to go back when the weather is better and the days are longer, to make the most of the outdoors.
