Auntie Loulou's Dog Hotel

What an incredible person Lou is, honestly welling up writing this! After having an experience where our dog was injured in a boarding home and it not being handled very well we had lost trust in people looking after our baby like their own and with a 10 day holiday coming up and having to find somewhere new last minute we felt nervous about it. Anybody who is reading these reviews looking for a place to for their dog - LEAVE THEM HERE!!!! I cant express enough how comfortable and how satisfied we were that we had made the right choice and come across special people from the moment we met Lou and Brian. Its clear shes mad about dogs and lives to see them happy. Her own gang melt your heart and really make you feel great about leaving your dog at their home - which is the most beautiful and dog friendly place I could imagine leaving Sid. The walks they are able to go on in the area make you feel like its your dog going on holiday and had Sid coming back thinking it was him who left us Plenty of updates about our fur baby kept us going and the drop off service was so thoughtful and kind after about 20 hours of travelling it was amazing to get home and he was there waiting! And hes already so knackered from all his doggy shenanigans and the excitement from his goodie bag, hes taken himself straight to bed Hes a bit shy and doesnt really have many other dogs that he sees regularly and hes not often interacted with by other dogs in the park etc. so we worried after his previous injury especially he might become timid but he made so many friends and surprised us turning into a little social butterfly in the right setting here with Lou. Not to get too heavy but as dogs are only with us for a little time I am so so glad he got to have this experience and I dont think we could have cultivated one like that to give him ourselves, only Lou. Will send him back here in a heartbeat.

not your usual dog hotel. no stinking cages, dogs are treated like family pets.

Lou runs a fabulous doggy sitting/ doggy holiday boarding business. The dogs are treated like royalty and looked after beyond belief. Make no mistake your "babies" will be looked after to the absolute highest standard and even have their own bedroom. Very highly recommended.

Lou used to walk our dogs and then she moved away to run her amazing dog hotel. Igor recently went to stay there and had the best time. We were updated with photos and messages and felt so reassured that he was in the best hands imaginable. There isnt any better than Lou, she loves dogs and loves your dog like her own. Shes a gem and were so happy that we have the best place for Igor to stay when were away.
