Amazing discovery! We went for dinner on the Saturday night and we loved the food so much that we booked a table for the following day. The meat served here is another level, cooked to perfection and with a lot of passion. Next time we will stay overnight so to enjoy the award winning breakfast they have available for their guests. Very friendly staff too, five stars!

As a self proclaimed foodie, this is hands down THE BEST meal I have ever had. The food was fresh with an unbelievable taste and the presentation made it look like modern art! The kitchen staff are one of a kind and a credit to the owner/chef Rab who has a very ovbious passion for cuisine and service. Louise at front of house will make you feel even if its your first time at the inn like you have been a thousand times before with attentive service and a genuine friendly can-do attitude. I drove 2.5 hours to get here and stay the night. IT IS SO WORTH IT WE ALREADY HAVE PLANNED TO RETURN. The room was so so charming, better than some 5* resorts! Clean, HUGE and homely with a mix of traditional and modern decor. Smart TVs and plenty of sockets/lights/ amenities/pillows/ refreshments/ towels etc. Well done to everyone there, a true gem of Southern Scotland; the best meal I have ever had!
