Boggle Dyke Cottage

We spent two weeks at boggle dyke cottage and found the cottage and garden to be very good the cottage is very well equipped with washing machine dish washer power shower and very cozy the garden has got plenty of wildlife that pops in and out and is plenty adiquaite for your dog to chill out in the patio area for all small is a great wee sun trap and the BBQ is a great little added extra. The cottage is part of a quiet area which starts at 23:00hrs until 07:00am which makes sense,however the A76 trunk road doesn't abide by this rule see below. Julia is very helpful and will let you know how to access the key before you arrive also she is happy to provide additional clean beding and towels if you are staying longer than a week which is always good and 10/10 for service. There are some fantastic dog walks locally and they do stretch away into the dumfriesshire country side and they also are fantsticslly quiet which is an added bonus. The one down side is the A76 trunk road that goes past this lovely little cottage and the traffic noise is constant with large lorry's cars ect these woke us up every day without fail at around 6am and on Thursdays earlier than that 5:30am for this reason I have taken one star off other wise we had a good stay

If your (Not 100% sure) about booking with Julia , don't book .She will make it difficult to get any refund if you try to cancel .I am disabled with personal illnesses which appear out of the blue .Being a nice person I am I thought about cancelling she refused I then offered to take own bedding (which is much larger than own bedding ) She then decided to cancel holiday!! But made it difficult to receive refund stating our bank details were wrong, 24hrs later with several messaging we received our refund. She has a book of terms and conditions you have to read before booking holiday .beware!!
