We loved our stay at Rigg House. It is a little gem. It has a warm, comfortable country house feel to it. We chose Rigg House as a base for drawing and painting in the countryside. We used the guide book (written by the host) to find locations to walk from and sketch from. We loved the chocolate fudge brownies in the room , the perfectly cooked veggie breakfasts and the use of the fridge and toaster in the dining room. We also liked the handmade crafts for sale (made by the host ) as was much of the artwork on the walls. In fact , we enjoyed it so much, we have booked our return visit for this coming Autumn. .
