A fantastic job was done on what was a difficult extension flat roof of about 50 square meters. The weather was against the guys from start to finish but very satisfied with the finish and quality of materials used. I would recommend them to anyone who is looking to have a professional job done on their roof. Good job!

Poor job by Rapid Fit Roofing and Roughcasting / Building company We contacted Rapid Fit Roofing & Roughcasting regarding a leaking roof over a tenement block of 8 flats. The quote seemed reasonable and initially I was really happy to find these guys. Following the repairs we discovered that our problems were not alleviated and the roof still leaks as before. They investigated the job and stated there is nothing wrong with what they did. They said we need to pay a lot more for additional work. When I questioned why this was not in the first quote, they said that these issues were not obvious until the scaffolding was up and that the quote never said that the the leaks will be repaired! I carried out my own inspection using a drone (photos attached). I found that the quality of work was in fact appalling! Multiple damaged/missing tiles were not replaced, zinc ridging not secured and gutters were never cleaned. All these items were in the quote. Shockingly, they charged us for cleaning the gutters, did not do the job and then proposed another quote of 1200 saying that cleaning the gutters did not fix leaking and we need to replace the gutters due to holes in them. I provided evidence showing that the work was not carried out properly and asked to remove outstanding issues causing leaks with no additional costs to what we have paid. They said that they will only do some of the work from the first quote. At this point, knowing that the company cannot be trusted and that these measures wont help us anyway I requested a refund. They were not willing to do this. Our roof still leaks, and we are now having to proceed with court action. Overall, I would NOT recommend this company. UPDATE/ EDIT: After I left this review, the owner of 'Rapid Roofing & Building' contacted me saying that it was in fact 'Rapid Fit Roofing & Roughcasting' that carried out repairs in our block. Please bare this in mind when reading my review. My quote, however, had the Rapid Roofing & Building name and logo on it which makes me believe they are the same company and trying to avoid negative reviews.
