No customer service ! I sent three emails to Yvette Jelfs to ask her how to rectify several problems with a hat I bought from her. I had no response. These hats are not cheap and supposedly 'bespoke'. My Panama had several issues after only being worn twice. The straw itself was fraying, the hat elastic was attached with little spikes that stuck into my head and one side broke, there was no inner hat band to hold the size and shape of the hat and protect your head from those little spikes. Eventually Yvette called me. She was rushed and not listening and when I asked her about that she said I was being grumpy and that she was seeing her daughter off on the train which was more important than I was!! WOW - I am gobsmacked - seems unbelievable to me that any business owner can behave that way to a customer. Now I have a hat that has not shape, broken elastic, fraying straw and basically unusable.......... do I want to deal any further with this company - NO. Interesting thread below. I was indeed very happy to receive the hat, it looked lovely, however, as above, after having worn it twice it has issues. I find it totally unprofessional to post my private emails online and my personal contact details. I did not give permission for this and ask they be removed. I have never called this company they called me - once. Their response below shows a level of deep disrespect for customers. So besides the product not standing up to wear - beware your private emails and contact details could be posted online by this company!
