Rooms: All rooms very clean and decor beautiful Nearby activities: Plenty of walks and places to visit nearby if you want. But lots of games and books available in the house. Food & drinks: Freshly laid eggs were supplied on arrival and can be topped up during stay. Milk, Bread, butter, crumpets, crisps, shortbread, sweets, tea and coffee all supplied on arrival. Liz thought of everything. Noteworthy details: Cleanliness was amazing. Decor very quirky but not ott. We loved it. Log burners were amazing, especially for a cozy night. Even the dog was catered for with towels for cleaning after walks, do beds and lovely treats.

The house, area and owner were everything and more we expected. We stayed for a family holiday and from the 5 year old to us grandparents we'd an amazing time and can't thank Liz the owner for going over and beyond with her help, recommendations and the fabulous treasure hunt she developed which all the children loved. In all an amazing location and house which I cannot praise enough.

Cowden Farmhouse, what can I say, wow what an amazing property and gardens, we had a fantastic holiday, Liz was a great host that provided all the information we needed to have the perfect holiday with recommendations for day trips and places to eat, she went above and beyond with lots of special touches, including a treasure hunt for ages to enjoy. We will definitely be back.

We've just had 4 nights at Cowden Farmhouse. It's idillyic, quirky, fascinating and very peaceful. It is spacious yet cosy and will keep you fully occupied and entertained. The owner has thought of everything and doesn't scrimp on the amenities and comforts that take the worry out of forgetting essentials. The only thing you will realise when you arrive is that you should have booked for longer! We will be back.
