We stayed in the balmoral lodge and from the minute we turned up until minute we left the owner William, his wife and all staff made us feel welcome. William told us places to go and the routes to take and we have had the best week. The 3 bedroom we stayed in was so clean and tidy, infact practically brand new I would say. There were plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses and utensils. The only thing I would say is that there were no oven trays so you wouldn't be able to cook in the oven (we didn't ask for any as we had eaten out when we went away for days). The bedroom size in the main bedroom was a good size but the smaller bedroom for children was tight more like a caravan bedroom. The hot tub was amazing and William showed us how to use it which was great. We actually booked direct with Royal Arch Riverside Park as I don't like hoseasons and its more personal. There are towels (bath sheet size) and you get hand towels and all beds were made up for us on arrival. There is an iron, ironing board, dishwasher and vacuum. We took a day out to balmoral which took us about an hour but stopped at the car park right at the top with amazing views! We also went into aberdeen to codonas which was great for the kids and that took around an hour. We went into montrose for tesco and aldi which is about 20 minutes away. Overall we had the best time and would go back in a heartbeat!

Just returned from a lovely weekend staying here with our toddler and baby. What a wee gem of a place! We stayed in the Cluny lodge with hot tub and would highly recommend it to anyone. The lodge is beautiful inside and out, well furnished and equipped with pretty much everything you need for your stay. The location is stunning and so peaceful. Our daughter loved the little play park on site too. We will definatley be back. Thanks for a lovely stay.

I don't write reviews but I felt I needed today. Just received a phone call today (5th of October)informing me my booking on Friday is now cancelled. The brodie caravan has a broken boiler and this takes 3 weeks to fix? Disappointed as this was for my 40th birthday on Friday and will have one Disappointed little girl who was exited for her holiday. Tessa at Hoseasons didn't seem one bit bothered about this. Won't be booking with them in the future. I hope I get a swift refund.
