Fettercairn Distillery

Lovely small distillery. Staff very welcoming and one of the best distillery tours Ive been on topped of with an excellent whisky. Highly recommended.

Fantastic tour. Warm welcome on arrival. Kirsty was a fantastic guide, very knowledgeable with good humour. I went for the Enlightened option and the opportunity to sample the 22 and 28 year olds was not to be missed . I plumped for the lovely 16 yo to take home. One of the best whisky tours I have experienced.

My wife and I booked a tour at this distillery as a birthday treat for myself having never previously tried Fettercairn. The whisky itself was lovely, very fruity with a gentle warmth that doesn't hit you hard. The booking process itself was helped by the office as my wife wanted to book the additional tasting for myself. The tour guide Kirsty was excellent, very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a small group of 4 on this tour, which suited us just fine. Stewart the distillery manager welcomed us, he was very friendly and clearly proud of the whisky produced at Fettercairn. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour, I came away with a bottle of the 16 year old and my wife with a blue hoodie that has the unicorn crest. So all happy!
