My son who is 2 absolutely loves this nursery. The outdoor area is his favourite place and every time I see pictures of him on his daily stories he's either up in the tree house, running through the tunnels, messing about in the water and mud kitchen or climbing up the hills. It is an amazing place with a vast amount of resources for all ages. It has been finished to an exceptionally high standard, both indoors and outdoors with safety being their first priority so I never worry about him when he's there. I love how the children are able to see animals and interact with them, as this was an important aspect for us when choosing a nursery. Animals really do have a positive impact on children and they learn so much from them. My son has become much more confident around animals, especially horses as he will feed them with the staff when the peek over the nursery fence looking for some treats. The staff are professional, knowledgeable and friendly and really do put the children at the centre of their learning. They are innovative and have made lovely unique resources inside for the children to explore. Not only that but the menu they have provided for the children is better than my weekly menu! Furthermore I like how I am informed online on a daily basis as to what my child has been doing. I get pictures of them playing and a story of what they have been playing with as well as how they ate that day or if they slept. This saves any communication issues being missed if you're in a rush at pick up time and also allows my husband to see what he's been up to. All in all I cannot recommend this nursery enough and can't wait till my youngest can go too.

My daughter and I both love Heads of Ayr Nursery and I'm so glad I chose to send her here. The staff are so welcoming and settled both of our nerves those first few weeks with care and kindness. It's also very reassuring to receive regular pictures and updates whilst my daughter is in nursery via their LearningJournal app. The nursery itself has so many opportunities for the children with every activity you could think of. The outdoor space is enormous with farm animals regularly popping their heads in to say hello, but my daughter especially loves the water features and treehouses. I love that the nursery is completely child-led so she gets to decide what activities and games she want to play, and there is constant access to the garden if she wants to go outside. The children even chose their own key worker. It's been such a tough year being stuck at home and I constantly worried about her social skills but now my daughter talks about her friends and teachers all day long. I honestly can't recommend Heads of Ayr Nursery highly enough.
