        The Ailsa is everything I expected and more. We played in a 3 club wind and the challenges were ever present but not insurmountable. Fairways and greens in great condition. Greens slow but it is March. Therefore we didn't get the full test of fast greens, run offs and swales. The scenery is fantastic. The fairway bunkering creates all sorts of decisions off the tee. Got a glimpse of an open venue off short tees. Go back to the plates and see the real test! Was delighted to break 80 here. Want to come back. Not sure we can afford it!

        While I hate to line the coffers of a gommy like trump, when your invited on a corporate freebie what can you do, but have to say, terrific course and a super day out. Meal in hotel was top class
