Antonios Fried Egg Roll
This small cafe is attached to Platform, a luxury homeware and clothing shop, which interestingly is housed in the original station. It is a shame the original clock on the building end doesn't work, but I digress. The cafe is quite small but the food is very good. Had the usual americano and flat white, both of which went down very well. Partner just had a scone but she said it was very good, and boring me just had a cheese and onion toasty, very cheesy and just the right amount of onion in it, not overpowering, but able to taste it. (Hate places that put to much onion in so you stink for the rest of the day.) The staff were exceptionaly friendly, and carefull to ask if I wanted salad with my toasty as well as coldslaw and crisps. Well worth a visit for both the shop and cafe and if you like trains, walk down the yard and you can still see the original engine shed. What more could you want. Forgot to add, has some of the best views from a cafe across the bay. Loved watching the waves rolling in.

We went here for a coffee before an appointment. Husband loved his caramel macchiato, FIL had an americano and I had a wonderful latte. We each had a different sweet piece which were so good my husband bought a small selection of scones and cakes to take home. The scones were so fresh they were still warm. The bakers were filling the display with fresh goodies as we had our drinks. Amazing staff they did have allergen sheets which we didn't make use of but were advertised as available on request. Planning to go back and have lunch sometime soon as the offerings are really tempting the menu was on the table today's soup of the day was butternut squash, scones of the day were pear & toffee, cheese or fruit. They offer sandwiches, toasties, wraps, salads and baked potatoes. Pricing was very reasonable for the portion sizes I could see. Dietary restrictions: They had several items available that were dairy and gluten free and with their knowledgeable staff asking what was available was a breeze
