Boturich Castle

Great views, and it looks like it has a good-sized venue

The building was fully closed off. Edit in response to owner reply: This is not a confusion with Balloch castle which we also visited, we were able to see Balloch castle though it was undergoing maintenance. I am aware now that Boturich Castle, despite looking on Google maps and the place listing opening times, is not open to the public. We walked up a road that was marked as private but allowed "visitors", however when getting near to the castle even a view of the structure was impossible as it was blocked off by a private road with signs forbidding access. I am not going to walk into private property if the owners do not want it, but all we want to do is see a castle that shows up on Google maps. Perhaps I should have read the q&a at the bottom of the Google maps entry, but this is the first castle I have not even been able to see as it's too important that others not even lay eyes on the building. So no, I did not mistake this for Balloch castle, which was lovely btw :)

The most magical wedding day, all the staff are incredible, but Erin and Ruairi go the extra mile when it comes to helping their couples achieve their dream day. I can't thank them enough. I would absolutely recommend for weddings and functions, picturesque and the pavilion is outstanding. The food will also knock your socks off.
