Lochs & Glens Holidays

Highland hotel lovely including all the staff. Driver new to the area No information or history given about the area. The coach isnt a lochs and glens coach very poor disapointing

22-29 April 2023 Highland Hotel, Absolutely fantastic holiday. Hotel food great choice every meal,staff were very friendly and helpful could not fault. The excursions were first class. But we must say a big big thank you to Peter G our driver he was so knowledgeable, professional and helpful nothing was to much trouble. Peter is a credit to Lochs and Glens We are already planning our next trip Thank you!!

Firstly, we did not have a lochs and glens coach and it was a budget ski coach from Wales that turned up. Driver brought his girlfriend and they thought it was their holiday and he wasn't working. First day of trips he didn't let us know what time to be back at the coach. We saw him and girlfriend in cafe so asked him what time to be back and he said 12 o'clock. Others were asking us so we told them. Everyone was back at the coach except driver and girlfriend who were watching the pipers. We would have loved to see them but was back at coach. He didn't turn up until 12.10 and a couple had been sat on a bench for an hour not knowing what time to be back and they said they could have used that time to look at grounds. Second day the itinerary was changed and we were told if we wanted to go we had to pay 5 each. His girlfriend took the money and I asked a lochs and glens driver about it and he wasn't aware we had to pay. You only pay if it's a free day and there is an optional trip. This was lochs and glens changing itinerary not a free day and an extra day out. We went to st Andrews and it was 3 hour drive there and 3 hour drive back and we only had 2 and half hours to look round and have lunch. We didn't see much of it and was a waste of time going. Very tiring being on coach all day. 3rd day we was on coach all day except for 45 minutes stop. Worst holiday ever.
