A comfortable lodge, very clean and comfortable and plenty of space for 5 of us. Darren, the owner, was extremely helpful in explaining where to visit and eat. The views are spectacular from the veranda and the holiday was made even more special with a boat trip on Darrens boat, which suited all the party from teenagers to my mother in law, who is in her 80's. Lots of places to eat - can recommend the Drovers & Duck Bay - both cater well for vegetarians.

Stayed here with my family for two nights. A total of six adults. All visiting were extremely impressed with the whole experience. Upon arrival, we were guided through the house rules by the owner. We were also advised on boats and canoes we were able to make use of during our stay. This was a lovely surprise. The bedrooms were very comfortable, with the double room featuring a full en suite. I personally stayed in the double and used the en suite exclusively, so cant comment on the other bathroom. Water pressure was pleasant and although it was a little compact, there was enough space to access everything easily. Towels were provided, and even some toiletries were available although we used our own. The lounge room backed onto the kitchen and dining spaces. For six adults, the two couches were a little snug, although we had no problems sitting on the floor or using dining chairs, there was plenty of space in the room to do so. The room has two bay windows looking out onto the loch with fantastic views that always bring joy. From the lounge/dining rooms you can walk out onto a wrap around deck that links to a jetty shown in the pictures attached. The kitchen was fantastically stocked, with utensils and even consumables that we didnt expect. You could definitely stay here and cook on site if you wished to. During our stay we cooked both nights. We also appreciated the dishwasher, which we used heavily. I would highly recommend staying here if you are planning visiting Loch Lomond. The lodge was very clean and the service was very good. Not only do you get a prime location, you also receive good amenities.
