Hello, I would like to say a massive thank you to the team at Car & Truck Services in Lockerbie. My alternator blew out on the motorway and they picked me up and took me to a spot so I could wait with my van for parts. The mechanic got the parts in, fixed my van up and got me on the road as soon as possible. Really friendly, spot on work as my van made it to the stop of Scotland and back to Bournemouth without any further problems, we bought them some beers to say thank you as we really appreciated how quickly and efficiently they dealt with us. David was outstanding and professional manner and reassured us, was on time , felt safe due to the car he was driving has loads of flashing lights ,trucks were moving into middle lane as we were on hard shoulder close to road , David put spare wheel on which was under car and put damaged wheel and accessories in car correctly thanks so much David !!! Used Car & Truck Services Ltd of Lockerbie when the engine warning light on our campervan came on. We had pulled into Ecclefecan and phoned our insurance recovery who instructed Car & Truck Services to attend. The mechanic who attended managed to identify a faulty engine sensor and had us on our way 15 mins. The cause of the problem and what we required to do thereafter was well explained as were other potential false warning lights that may have materialised on the way home. Excellent service and can thoroughly recommend if this is the standard of their work.

Not a great experience with these guys after being towed to garage after breakdown - encountered a less than friendly guy at yard and was told right away car wouldnt be ready for a week and a half if we left it with them despite him not being a mechanic. We were on way to a holiday . Found another local garage who got us on the road less than 24 hours later .
