Buses don't turn up, no explanation or way of contacting out of hours. Regularly go past stops without picking people up. Totally unreliable

My son's friend went out to get the Lockerbie to Dumfries bus tonight at roughly 1940. He was at the Vallance Drive bus stop. He stuck his arm out and even stood out on to the road so the driver would see him but the driver just looked straight at him and drove right passed him. Luckily he came back to our house. I hope the next bus doesn't do the same thing

Update on below.....was called by Alec from Houston's we discussed the issue. I apologized once again to the receptionist but in a calmer tone this time admittedly. I do sound really aggressive when I'm upset, it's my Glasgow accent that does it. Alec knows the two ladies who were on the bus so hopefully when he speaks to them he'll know I reacted to a rude reply earlier like I had said. We'll move on and forget about it now. I'll update the stars again as one incident shouldn't be my reason to diss a company who are actually really good at helping when they can. Time for a copy/delete/paste job Had to delete my last 5 star review to post this one. Not so good this time. When you tell a driver he's not gone the correct route and that any folk waiting my complain. To be told " I know the route! I know who waits where." Then tells you to report him as he's heard you on the phone before. (I was, I was wanting to know if the bus was coming because it was 20 min late.) So he then tells me he'll not be picking me up on the way back, and keeps that promise, drove right past. Must be hard to get decent drivers these days. I'm stuck at Lochmaben now, in freezing temperatures waiting an extra 40 mins for the next bus. I must send apologies for shouting at the receptionist also, but people do get angry when stuff like this happens. Sorry for that on my part. I call them as I see them folks, you get the bad with the good. I'll copy in my previous review below. 117 didn't show up today. Houston's went above and beyond sending a driver round straight away to pick me up. Really well done, makes a change from the customer service at McCall's when they ran the route. Thank you.
