This was a great day. The course was not only fun and relaxed but also very informative. I found it easy to understand and put into practice the map reading and compass skills even when I got home. Heather is very good at teaching and I feel that I have a good grounding in map reading.

I had a fantastic day on Heathers map skills and navigation course. She is extremely knowledgeable and a great communicator. I now feel very confident to start using some of these skills to start exploring my local area a bit more extensively. Thank you.

Heather was a fantastic guide for our day of exploring Kilmartin Glen. She went above and beyond to show us the sites we wanted to see and add a few we hadn't even heard about before. She is so knowledgable about the history of this region and how it relates to human history and Scottish history on a wider scale - our heads were buzzing with fascinating stories and mind-blowing facts at the end of the day. At the same time, it wasn't overwhelming because Heather put everything into a relevant context. I can't recommend a walk with Heather enough!

We had a day with Heather exploring the Kilmartin Glen area on a private tour. I've never thought to do a private tour before, but her mix of history, local knowledge and plant knowledge made for a fascinating day and really interesting conversations!

Heather made Scotland come alive for my group. She organized an epic and beautiful hike for 12 of us which included lunch and even a gin tasting. It was the highlight of our already-amazing Scotland trip. Heather even graciously organized a smaller hike upon landing in Glasgow. She helped us organize mountain bikes, was a pleasure to work with, and was communicative and helpful for all our needs even beyond the outdoor activities. I can't imagine doing Scotland without Heather! A++
