        Jim has been the driving instructor for both my boys now, spent 17 hours with my youngest son and got him through his test, fantastic instructor, patient and direct, absolutely would recommend.

        I had the pleasure of booking Jim for my driving lessons a little while ago. It consisted of me booking my test date and location, castle douglas, which was then followed by several sessions of intensive lessons of multiple hours each. My final lessons were in the hours immediately before my test (same day!). Jim was very thorough and worked well within my learning style, which is to just do it, discuss it, then try again. Jim was good fun, very relaxed, very enthusiastic and i was also able to borrow his car for my test. I passed with 2 minors. great guy and i recommend him to everyone i know wanting to learn.
